Public opinion is turning against Donald Trump, with new polls showing sharp declines in his approval—even among Republicans. His recent missteps on Iran, NATO, and a poorly received military parade have exposed cracks in his once-dominant strongman image. Some allies are beginning to distance themselves. Still, Democrats aren’t gaining much ground, as many voters remain unsure about what they offer as an alternative.
Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s White House press secretary, backed up her boss after he attacked CNN reporter Natasha Bertrand on Truth Social. On air, Leavitt echoed the same accusations, claiming Bertrand was driven by hatred. This kind of coordinated targeting of journalists is becoming more aggressive, with Leavitt even suggesting that intelligence agencies are conspiring against Trump to suppress the truth.
In a scene that stunned many, members of Trump’s official White House faith office were filmed praying and speaking in tongues on White House grounds. Far from fringe behavior, this event reflects a growing movement to reshape U.S. law according to Christian nationalist beliefs. These activists see Trump as divinely chosen and seek to legislate their religious values on issues like abortion, LGBTQ rights, and immigration.
Joe Rogan recently expressed surprise over immigration raids under Trump—despite Trump’s repeated promises to carry out mass deportations. Rogan’s shock rings hollow, considering how much he helped legitimize Trump’s rhetoric. This is part of a larger pattern: right-wing influencers often treat authoritarianism as theoretical until its consequences become real. Then they feign surprise while distancing themselves from the fallout.
In a candid interview on Capitol Hill, Senator Cory Booker reflected on the country’s deepening moral crisis. He spoke about the emotional toll of inequality and praised poor Americans who continue to give what little they can to support justice. Booker urged Democrats to focus less on saving their party and more on serving the people. He warned against adopting Trump’s scorched-earth tactics and instead called for creative, compassionate resistance rooted in principle.

The Supreme Court limited lower courts’ power to issue nationwide injunctions, enabling the Trump administration to move forward with controversial policies like redefining birthright citizenship. In a separate ruling, the Court sided with religious parents who want to exclude their children from LGBTQ-inclusive school content. Finally, the Court upheld a Texas law that requires adults to verify their age with government IDs to access sexually explicit websites.

We need another civil war to get Trump out of office. Why do I say civil war and not revolutionary war? Because it will be basically Trump supporters on one side against non-trump supporters on the other side! I hope we have good strong people on the non-trump side so that we can take them out, get rid of trump and his regime and get our country back? And I don't know why but I heard that there was an audit that showed that the 2024 election was rigged and that Trump did not win and yet no one is asking for an audit! Why not?????
______ Barbie. (Take your pick on which DJT associate this label has been applied to…)
These terms have only short term mileage at best. At the end of the day you don’t feel any better about name calling than our dummy in chief who has no better than a fifth grade vocabulary.
I believe physical beauty to be a divine attribute of women. Associating that aspect of the feminine with true ugliness of character doesn’t have any real mileage.
I would rather some clever people find names that fit with the actual names of these lawless women. For example, I wish there was a good synonym for Gestapo or Assault that rhymed with Kristi or Noem.
Lyin’ Caroline isn’t quite clever enough for Caroline Leavitt, to suit my taste.(Pronounce lyin’ like line.)
Pam Bondi just looks tired. “Nightmare before Justice” is just too many syllables.
You get the idea. And this still feels pretty stinky to have spent time trying to think of clever labels, rather than just calling the warped attributes of character demonstrated by these women the flavor of ugliness they actually are.
