Fox News WILL NOT have to apologize on air for defamatory election lies
Fox News has settled the major defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems for $787.5 million. Fox has also walked back some of the claims its hosts made on air about supposed voter fraud in the 2020 election. However, Fox News hosts will not be required to issue apologies or retractions on air. Dominion lawyers chose to settle quickly rather than go through a lengthy trial process, even though it seemed like this was going to trial up until the eleventh hour. Dominion was probably more interested in the sure bet of nearly $800 million, which they could collect quickly, rather than going through a lengthy legal process that might not have yielded as much. Fox News laughably stated that the settlement reflects its continued commitment to the highest journalistic standards, trying to make this seem like a win for them instead of a nearly $800 million loss. Although many people would have liked to see Fox hosts apologize on air for their lies, it is understandable why Dominion did not insist on it and was happy simply collecting the money.
Trump promises mandatory homeless camps in disoriented orange video
Failed former President Donald Trump has proposed the idea of mandatory homeless camps as part of his policy for a 2024 run. He said during his announcement, “Ban urban camping. Wherever possible. Violators of these bans will be arrested, but they will be given the option to accept treatment and services if they're willing to be rehabilitated.” Of course, banning homelessness in this way assumes that it is a choice or behavior that can be eliminated with the right punishment, ignoring the fact that homelessness has many underlying causes, such as poverty, mental illness, addiction, lack of affordable housing, and lack of effective public transportation. By forcing homeless people to live in tent camps outside of cities, they are further marginalized and stigmatized. Historical examples of this type of approach have shown that mandatory institutionalization programs for homeless people only lead to overcrowding, unsanitary conditions, abusive treatment, and segregation, making it even harder for them to reintegrate into society. Instead of further marginalizing this vulnerable population, experts suggest that we should work towards addressing the root causes of homelessness.

Dems TURN on Dianne Feinstein, demand she resign
There are increasing calls for California Senator Dianne Feinstein to resign due to concerns about her cognitive state. Feinstein is 89 years old and has announced that she will not be seeking re-election in 2024. Reports suggest that she has difficulty remembering people and information and she has unknowingly asked the same question repeatedly to people providing testimony at hearings. The latest issue with Feinstein is her absence from the Judiciary Committee due to shingles which has made it impossible for Senate Democrats to confirm Joe Biden's judicial nominations. Republicans are against Feinstein's resignation, but Democrats are urging her to resign to help the party's political expediency. Three members of the House of Representatives have decided to run for Feinstein's Senate seat, and if she resigns, Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom would get to appoint a replacement to fill the vacancy. There would then be a special election that could potentially change the game with regard to many Democratic open seats in the House of Representatives.

LOL: DeSantis threatens to build prison next to Disney World
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has threatened to build a state prison near Disney World in response to Disney's opposition to the "Don't Say Gay" bill in Florida. The bill places restrictions on what can be taught in Florida classrooms regarding gender identity and sexual orientation in kindergarten through third grade. Disney came out against the bill under internal pressure, leading DeSantis and Florida Republicans to claim that Disney had “gone woke” and to take control of the district that operated as a private municipal government by Disney. DeSantis is now threatening to send inspectors to look at the rides in Walt Disney World and possibly build a prison next to the theme park. Despite DeSantis claiming to be against regulation and welcoming tax revenue from businesses, he’s clearly wielding his political power in this instance against his corporate enemy. This is an obvious display of hypocrisy by DeSantis and it could end up backfiring on him given the economic powerhouse that the Walt Disney Company is in the state of Florida.

Awhile back, someone photo-shopped Trump’s hair to reflect how it would really look if he ditched his current come-over orange style. It showed up as short white hair. Not only was he unrecognizable, but it was utterly hilarious. Michael Cohen, who was once Trump’s friend and confidant, explained that Trump had hair implants decades ago, and it was a horrible failure, resulting in red sores on his scalp. No way would he EVER reveal this secret.
