Granted, Ms. Griner's sentence is excessive and shocking, but what is more shocking is why she (or anyone else, including older rock stars) would be dumb enough to even pack drugs in their suitcase in the first place. Is she so addicted to the drug that she has to take it with her everywhere, in the same way as (for example) a diabetic has to carry insulin wherever they go? WHAT WAS SHE THINKING?
