Trump Ruins 1st Debate, Global Laughingstock
The first 2020 presidential debate took place last night and it was an embarrassment and disgrace to the United States. No US presidential debate has ever devolved into such a gong show. President Trump would not adhere to the rules of the debate and kept talking over Joe Biden, despite repeated attempts from moderator Chris Wallace to try to get Trump to stop talking. Biden did well enough and didn’t have any major gaffes, but he had a difficult time communicating his ideas because he was constantly interrupted. Biden got a few zingers in against Trump, calling him a “clown,” a “racist,” and telling him to “shut up” on one occasion.
Donald Trump had a couple of particularly disgraceful moments during the debate. He insulted Joe Biden’s son Hunter over once having a drug problem, which was tone deaf. Trump was also asked to condemn white supremacists groups, which he wouldn’t do. Trump was specifically asked about the neo-fascist “Proud Boys” group and he told them to “stand back and stand by,” which was practically an endorsement. Ultimately, it’s hard to say Americans learned anything substantive watching this debate and it’s challenging to predict how this will affect undecided voters.
Fox Hosts HORRIFIED as Giuliani Blurts Out Biden Conspiracy
Donald Trump’s TV lawyer Rudy Giuliani went on Fox & Friends yesterday and once again made a fool of himself. He decided to blurt out some conspiracy theory about Joe Biden having dementia and the Fox hosts looked absolutely mortified and unsure about what to do. Giuliani said that Biden can’t even say the pledge of allegiance, which is funny because it’s Trump who forgets the words to the pledge and the national anthem. Basically everything Giuliani said was a concern about Biden could be flipped around and used against Trump. It’s clear that the 2020 race for Trumpists is the projection election.
Rudy Giuliani wasn’t done going on the attack against Joe Biden. He accused Biden of taking Adderall with no evidence. Trump is, of course, the one who has upper days and downer days and sometimes sniffs uncontrollably. It’s clear the Fox hosts wanted to steer away from this topic but they couldn’t control Giuliani’s rantings. One of the interesting side stories of the Trump presidency is the fall of Rudy Giuliani who was once seen as “America’s Mayor” and a leader that both sides of the aisle could respect.
From yesterday’s show:
Jill Biden SHUTS DOWN CNN Host
Jill Biden put on a clinic in how to be interviewed during her recent appearance on CNN with Jake Tapper. Tapper mentioned that Joe Biden is prone to the occasional gaffe, which Jill Biden completely shut down, saying “you can’t even go there. After Donald Trump, you cannot even say the word ‘gaffe.’” Jill Biden could have conceded that her husband sometimes makes verbal mistakes but he’s right on the issues. Instead she went on the attack, showing there’s a world of difference between her husband and the current president. Jake Tapper was left not knowing how to follow up and had to move on to the next topic.
