Uh-Oh: Tucker Carlson PANICKING, Homophobic History Exposed
A few days ago, Fox News propagandist Tucker Carlson ran an out-of-place segment on his show wherein he strangely referred to his college yearbooks and people like Jeff Bezos looking for dirt on him. It seemed completely out of context and raised the question of whether Tucker was trying to get ahead of a possibly embarrassing or problematic story. This prompted people to take a look a Carlson’s yearbooks from his time at Trinity College in the late 1980s and early 1990s. One yearbook listed Tucker as part of something called the “Dan White Society.” Dan White was the guy who killed San Francisco Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk, California’s first openly gay elected official, in 1978. Assuming Tucker was referring to the same Dan White, this would not just be homophobia — it would essentially be an endorsement of murdering gay people. Tucker also referenced Jesse Helms in his yearbook, who was known for opposing civil rights, feminism, gay rights, and much more.
Political activist Jeremy Hooper looked into this further and found a 1990 op-ed by Tucker Carlson from his college newspaper. In an article he penned, Carlson referred to homosexuality as “unnatural and unhealthy.” Tucker barely wrote for the paper, but for some reason this issue was the one he felt compelled to write about. While it’s possible that Tucker has evolved on this issue over the past 30 years, it does a lot to explain his efforts to fearmonger and make his viewers hysterical about social issues which largely don’t affect them. While this probably won’t be the scandal to “cancel” Tucker Carlson, it provides some important insight into the life of one of the most dangerous people on American airwaves.
Disgusting Anti-Maskers Accosting CHILDREN at School
Anti-maskers are somehow becoming more emboldened, despite indicators pointing to the United States getting close to the end of the coronavirus pandemic. Case in point, a group of anti-maskers showed up this week at an elementary school in Beverly Hills, California with signs and flyers protesting mask rules and encouraging kids not to wear their masks. The group was filmed doing their “activism” and at one point a protester told a student that the mask smells bad. Kids are, of course, highly impressionable and might feel intimidated by a group of adults telling them to disobey their parents and teachers. While just about no one likes wearing masks, most of us recognize it’s a small sacrifice for keeping people healthy and preventing more COVID infections, hospitalizations, and deaths. Most of society, and even most of these students, understand this and yet more than a year into the pandemic, there is still a sizable portion of the American population complaining about placing some cloth over their face.
From yesterday’s show:
Candace Owens OFF THE RAILS Over Derek Chauvin Verdict
Right-wing political commentator Candace Owens is highly upset over Tuesday’s conviction of former police officer Derek Chauvin on two counts of murder and one count of manslaughter. Owens went on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show to complain and ramble for minutes on end with no interruptions from the host. Carlson opened up the conversation by saying it was unfortunate that politics got tied into the George Floyd murder case. Candace took it from there, saying “this was not a trial about George Floyd or Derek Chauvin, this was a trial about whether the media was powerful enough to create a simulation and decide upon a narrative absent any facts.” Of course, Chauvin was convicted by a jury of his peers who assessed the evidence in the courtroom, not by a bunch of activist reporters without any evidence. Nothing that Candace said in her interview squared with the facts but it’s all about providing cover for Fox viewers to maintain their ignorant takes on the murder of George Floyd.
