Trump Press Secy So Humiliated Even Fox Host Can't Save Her
One of the most sinister characters in the Greek tragedy that has been the Trump presidency is Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany. She once again went on Sean Hannity’s program last night, this time armed with ballots instead of printouts of articles from right-wing publications. One of the ballots she brought with her had a bunch of sharpie circles on it. She argued that the layout of the ballot was confusing in what may have been an attempt to compare this election to the 2000 election, which came down to much tighter margins. McEnany later held up a binder meant to show off all her examples of impropriety in Detroit.
McEnany sure knows how to use props to her advantage and it works on the Fox News audience but it’s laughable to everyone else. What Kayleigh is doing here is essentially a Gish Gallop by paper. A Gish Gallop is the debate tactic of hurling a bunch of different arguments and information at someone, knowing all of it can’t possibly be refuted in a short timeframe and trying to benefit off of the confusion. If McEnany’s hundreds of pages of “proof” were actually helpful to overturning the election results, the Trump team would be presenting them in court rather than on Fox News shows.
BREAKING: Trump Considering Pardoning His Kids & Rudy Giuliani
Rudy Giuliani has reportedly discussed a blanket preemptive pardon from Donald Trump to be issued in the last seven weeks before leaving office. It isn't as of yet clear whether Giuliani brought the idea to Trump or whether Trump brought it to Giuliani, but there was more than one conversation about it. Rudy hasn’t yet been charged with anything and it’s unclear what he might face charges for. We know that Giuliani was being investigated last summer by federal prosecutors for maybe violating lobbying law through his work in Ukraine. The proposed pardon would be an open-ended and preemptive pardon for all potential federal crimes, leaving the possibility open for state-level indictments.
Trump is also considering preemptive pardons for some of his children as well as his son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Last week, Trump issued a pardon for his former national security adviser, Michael Flynn. On top of this, it is being reported that the US Justice Department is investigating a possible cash for pardon scheme. Prosecutors in Washington say they’ve obtained evidence of a bribery scheme that “would offer a substantial political contribution in exchange for a presidential pardon or reprieve of sentence.” It’s so far unclear whether Trump knew about the scheme but it wouldn’t be at all surprising if he did.

Trump Trying to Reinstate Firing Squads & Electric Chair
Donald Trump only has a few weeks left in office and he has been spending most of his time whining about how the election was stolen by Joe Biden. But the outgoing president did make time to try to increase the number of ways in which the federal government can kill people. The administration wants to reinstate firing squads and the electric chair because the drugs used for lethal injections are becoming harder to obtain. Trump is also working on allowing the USDA to permit faster chicken processing lines in slaughterhouses and making rule changes to make it harder for Joe Biden to reinstate environmental protections. A defeated Trump is doing his best to leave behind a legacy of death and destruction.
