Trump RAGE, Threatens "Dangerous Moment" in Tweetstorm
Donald Trump spent yesterday morning rage-tweeting after a few relatively calm days for him. The outgoing president made the usual posts about the election being rigged and about how he actually won, but he also went a step further. Trump quoted a fan of his at a Georgia rally as reported by one of his favorite news networks, OANN. The quote was, “This is going to escalate dramatically. This is a very dangerous moment in our history. The fact that our Country is being stolen.” Trump is trying to encourage dramatic and potentially violent action while hiding behind the statement being a quote from someone else. It’s indeed Trump who is encouraging violence and this could launch the type of stochastic terror incident we’ve been warning about.
Trump continued his attacks on Georgia Republican Governor Brian Kemp, writing “His poll numbers have dropped like a rock. He is finished as governor!” Then, Trump called on the Supreme Court to steal the election for him, saying, “The Supreme Court has a chance to save our Country from the greatest Election abuse in the history of the United States.” Most of these tweets were flagged by Twitter as misleading or disputed. This could all get ugly very quickly and it’s unclear what Trump supporters will be willing to do when they see Joe Biden being sworn in on Inauguration Day.
Biden Will Spray Entire White House with Disinfectant When Trump Leaves
On January 20th, while Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are getting sworn in as President and Vice President of the United States, the White House will be undergoing a deep cleansing. Biden has ordered the White House to be fully disinfected, including doorknobs and furniture, before he moves in that afternoon. The Trump White House has been host to multiple super-spreader events and outbreaks among staff have been routine in recent months. It only makes sense that Biden would want to sanitize the entire place, since Trump and his associates haven’t cared at all about the virus that has been killing 3,000 Americans per day.
For me, this is more about the optics and the poetic meaning of disinfecting the Trump presidency. The surface transmission risk for COVID-19 exists, but it’s far less than we thought during the beginning of the pandemic. The poetic message of Biden scrubbing down the mess that Trump left him is just so powerful. The White House needs to be cleansed, not just of Trump's germs, but from his incompetent leadership on the virus. We’re calling it “fumi-gate.”
From yesterday’s show:
YouTube BANS Videos Falsely Claiming Trump Won
YouTube has decided that they will start removing any videos that claim Donald Trump lost the 2020 election due to voter fraud. The Google-owned company has recognized Joe Biden’s victory as a historical fact since the US has passed its safe harbor deadline to contest election results. Claims to the contrary will be classified under the “misleading video” restriction. YouTube says that they won’t retroactively enforce this rule but it will be in effect going forward. The policy chance will unleash a whirlwind of rage from the right-wing, but YouTube has calculated that it’s worth it because Trump’s threat to democracy is even worse. While I think the implementation of this is going to be complex, there’s no question that YouTube has every right to make this rule.

Hi from New Zealand
This laughing stock of the world has me beat
Haven’t you got some rule of law that can’t be challenged which states
Inciting violence is illegal??
Gosh your law system is illogical
Why make rule and then say in your next breadth
Stuff it I don’t like it
And then give me the ability to challenges it through a court case etc
Does this mean I could challenge any law or rule your country has made
Ok fine
How stupid
Why make laws at all
Just go for the gun 🔫 and let the fittest survive
Cheers ian
