Trump Gasping for Air After Leaving Hospital
Donald Trump left Walter Reed Medical Center yesterday and flew back to the White House to undergo the next stage of his treatment for COVID-19. It’s clear the President had optics and theatrics in mind, as he climbed the exterior steps of the White House, ripped off his mask, and saluted Marine One as it flew away. The photo-op didn’t go so smoothly though, as Trump appeared short of breath and in some level of respiratory pain after climbing the stairs. The scene really called into question whether the President is doing okay and if he should have left the hospital so early.
Everything this White House does puts optics over reality and this charade was the latest example. Donald Trump wants to look strong and deliver the message that he’s conquered coronavirus and he is ready to get back to the campaign trail. The problem is, he is seriously risking his own health and the health of those around him by going home so early. Trump says he’s “feeling good” right now and his doctors say he’s improving, but we can’t believe anything they say at this point.
Trump Delivers Lunatic Maskless Speech After Leaving Hospital
Donald Trump left Walter Reed Medical Center yesterday after spending three nights there to battle COVID-19. In addition to staging a photo-op saluting Marine One as it flew away while he struggled to breathe, Trump also recorded a short video which was later posted to his Twitter page. Trump said he “learned so much about coronavirus,” which fits right into the narrative of right-wingers lacking empathy and only truly understanding an issue when it affects them personally.
Trump also urged people not to let coronavirus “dominate” them and to not be afraid of the disease because the United States supposedly has the best medical equipment and treatments for COVID-19. A few days ago Trump said that he felt better than he did twenty years ago, which could have easily just been from the drugs he was on. Trump wrapped up by urging people to “get out there” and “be careful” and that vaccines are on the way. Even after all the White House has been through this week, they are still doing a tremendously poor job at handling their communications strategy.
From yesterday’s show:
SHOCK: Biden Lead Over Trump DOUBLES After Debate
We are now starting to receive post-debate presidential polling and it is bad for Donald Trump. A new Wall Street Journal poll has Joe Biden ahead of Trump by 14%. There’s also a brand new CNN poll that has Biden ahead by 16%. This doesn’t mean that Biden is guaranteed to win and the race may tighten up over the next few weeks. However, it does go to show that the President did himself no favors with how he behaved during the first debate. It’s still inconclusive how Trump getting COVID-19 will affect the race.

Trump needed an intervention when he was going through puberty. But that never would’ve happened because he was just following the example set by his father. Cheater, liar, crook, sociopathic. Will you get the idea.
