Trump Press Secy Goes Absolutely Insane, FAILS Simple Math
Donald Trump’s Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany went on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show yesterday to discuss supposed voter fraud in the 2020 election. McEnany seemed to understand that the new Texas lawsuit, which is suing four swing states that went to Biden, is their best chance at overturning the election results. They have had to move on from the Pennsylvania lawsuit since the US Supreme Court declined to hear it, so now they are just on to the next one. Kayleigh did her normal routine of holding up pieces of paper and spoke about sworn declarations to sound credible to the gullible Fox News audience.
McEnany then tried to make the case that Trump’s lead on election night in Pennsylvania was so large that there was no chance of Biden catching up when the remainder of the votes got counted. She claimed to have done the math and reported that the odds of Biden catching up after election night were one in one quadrillion. McEnany then scaled up these “odds” to “one in one quadrillion to the fourth power” that Biden would win all four swing states. Kayleigh’s math is flawed for a number of different reasons, including because that’s not how exponents work. Also, everyone knew there was not an equal distribution of ballots and that mail-in ballots that got counted later, particularly in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, were expected to swing heavily to Biden.
Canada & UK Beat Trump to Coronavirus Vaccine Approval
The United States is falling behind in the race for a coronavirus vaccine. The United Kingdom and Canada have beaten the US in obtaining approved vaccines. The UK is already starting to vaccinate elderly members of its population and Canada’s health department gave the Pfizer mRNA vaccine emergency approval yesterday. It should only be a number of days before the US FDA announces its approval of the Pfizer vaccine, but there is no guarantee. Other countries are better set up to receive large quantities of vaccine doses from Pfizer because they made deals over the summer to get more doses. The United States, which passed on the opportunity, may have to wait until summer to get enough Pfizer doses to vaccinate the general population.
Meanwhile, coronavirus in the United States is totally out of control. Several days this week saw between 2,9000 and 3,000 deaths, which is inconceivably tragic. This is the equivalent of a 9/11 every single day. The vaccine is not going to be widely available in the US in time to mitigate this fall wave. Certain populations, like the elderly and medical professionals, could get it sooner, but there won’t be enough for everyone. There is no telling how bad the virus could get with the full effects of Thanksgiving travel not even being seen yet, and more holiday gatherings upcoming.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump Vaccine Chief Has NO CLUE What Trump is Talking About
Donald Trump’s coronavirus vaccine chief, Dr. Moncef Slaoui, was interviewed by ABC's George Stephanopoulos this week to discuss the promising Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. The interview took place after Trump’s propaganda event, wherein he signed an executive order to force Pfizer to sell extra doses to the US before selling them to other countries. Although the transactions have already been made and the US passed on the opportunity over the summer, Trump thinks he can use the Defense Production Act to get Americans the vaccine earlier. Slaoui was asked about how that would work and he appeared totally unsure. He said, “frankly I don’t know and frankly I’m staying out of this.” If the executive order is unable to work and vaccines for the general public are delayed until the summer, this will go down as yet another failure for Donald Trump.

You have a typo. You said the USA had beteen 2,9000 and 3000 deaths in one day. Well I think you meant between 2,900 and 3,000 deaths. Oops!
Kaylee McEnany should change her name to something more appropriate to the way she acts during press conferences. Or on broadcast TV. I think A name that would be in concert with her tactics would be Lillian Gish Gallup. And if you use this, David, please give credit where credit is due = ME. Good to see you on TYT during a conversation with CENK. Your hair was a little messy but your answers to see CENK‘s questions were stellar.
