Tucker Carlson Pretends Trump Riot Too Confusing to Understand
Fox News host Tucker Carlson managed to deliver a hate-filled and mind-numbingly dumb rant during yesterday’s opening monologue. Carlson’s message was ostensibly a defense of Trump’s actions on Insurrection Day at the Capitol but it quickly devolved into a diatribe against George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement. Carlson argued that the “known facts” from the Capitol riots are very different than what is being presented by House impeachment managers. He then provided no examples of such discrepancies, instead moving on to badmouthing last year’s protests against systemic racism and police brutality.
Tucker argued, “BLM and their sponsors in corporate America completely changed this country.” He implied that they were able to do so by tricking the public over what happened to George Floyd. Carlson would have you believe that Floyd was not killed by Officer Derek Chauvin’s knee pressing into his neck for eight minutes, but rather from a fentanyl overdose that just so happened to occur at the same time. Tucker is taking this stance to appeal to his deeply conservative audience who want to believe police are always in the right. But it surely was a bizarre pivot from the conversation about Trump’s impeachment and whether or not the former president incited an insurrection.
BREAKING: Trump Under Criminal Investigation for "Perfect" GA Phone Call
Former President Trump is under criminal investigation for his January 2nd phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. During the call, Trump pressured the state’s lead election official to “find 11,780 votes” for him in order to take the first step in overturning the results of the 2020 presidential election. Raffensperger and his attorneys recorded the call and it has since been made public. This offense by Trump could have been impeachable on its own, but it quickly got overshadowed by the Capitol riots that came four days later. Now, Georgia election officials want to bring this case back to the forefront.
Fani Willis, the District Attorney for Fulton County, Georgia, sent letters to the governor, secretary of state, and other Georgia executive officials and wrote that the investigation is a “matter of high priority.” The letter makes it clear that Trump is under scrutiny for his role in trying to coerce Georgia election officials to overturn the results of the election. Willis wrote, “this investigation includes, but is not limited to, potential violations of Georgia law prohibiting the solicitation of election fraud, the making of false statements to state and local governmental bodies, conspiracy, racketeering, violation of oath of office and any involvement in violence or threats related to the election's administration.”

Trump Screaming and Furious About Embarrassing Impeachment Legal Defense
Donald Trump watched day one of his own Senate impeachment trial in horror as the House impeachment managers put together an impeccable presentation, while his own lawyers floundered around unprepared. Trump was “deeply unhappy” with defense attorney Bruce Castor’s performance and was “borderline screaming,” according to a report from CNN. While the opening remarks from the defense were lackluster, that’s exactly what Trump should have expected. So few legal experts in the country wanted to take up this case because they know Trump is guilty of inciting the insurrection at the Capitol on January 6th. The ex-president also has a history of not paying legal fees, which limits the pool of talent he could possibly choose from.
