Fox Host STUNNED, Cuts Interview When Guest Confronts Her
Fox News propagandist Jeanine Pirro ended an interview abruptly because she couldn’t tolerate the left-wing opinions of her guest. For all the talk about conservatives being the ones willing to listen to the other side of the aisle, Pirro did not want to hear anything that clashed with her worldview on her program. Jeanine interviewed an immigration advocate named David Leopold, who’s an attorney at Ulmer & Berne LLP. The exchange started going south when Leopold argued that Pirro’s data on immigration and border crossings were wrong. Pirro said about her numbers, “they’re facts.” Leopold calmly responded with, “they’re not facts Jeanine, very few things that I’ve heard on this show tonight have been facts.”
Leopold went on to make the case as to why Pirro is lying, partly by pointing out that she is wrong to say the border is “open” now under Biden, when it isn’t. The guest went on to point out other ways in which the Biden presidency is popular with Americans, like its passing of the $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill earlier this month. All Pirro could do was shake her head and at a certain point, she couldn’t take it anymore. Jeanine spoke over the guest and claimed that “[Biden] is letting COVID into this country” and “bringing in a whole pandemic during a pandemic.” She then yelled “thanks for nothing” and kicked Leopold off the show. This was a major embarrassment for Pirro, who couldn’t defend her bogus talking points when confronted by a real expert who disagreed with her. Instead she had to pull the plug on the entire interview because it was going that poorly.
SHOCK: Evidence Supports SEDITION Charges for Trump Rioters
Federal investigators say they have enough evidence to charge some of the Trump January 6th rioters with sedition. US Attorney Michael Sherwin told “60 Minutes” on Sunday “I believe the facts do support those charges” and that “I think that, as we go forward, more facts will support that." The US Justice Department has already filed charges against approximately 400 people who unlawfully entered the Capitol that day. Every indication is that the sedition charge would only be pressed against the most egregious offenders. According to federal law, sedition is defined in part by, trying “to oppose by force the authority of the United States government; to prevent, hinder, or delay by force the execution of any law of the United States.” Because the Trump rioters were trying to delay or stop the constitutionally required counting of electoral votes, prosecutors may assess that in some cases, this charge will be appropriate.
From yesterday’s show:
The Country is Suddenly Too "Crowded" for Tucker Carlson
Tucker Carlson went on his Fox News show last week and delivered a monologue about America suddenly being “too crowded” for him. This is commentary that Carlson kept mostly under wraps during the Trump years, but now that immigration is a big issue again to the right wing, he’s free to discuss it openly again. Carlson said “every year the United States gets steadily more jammed with people, and at the same time, more chaotic and less cohesive as open spaces shrink.” There is plenty of open space in the country and, in fact, the United States ranks at a towards-the-bottom 145th in population density. Tucker went on to say “this is becoming a crowded country and crowded countries are ugly, unhappy countries.” Here, the Fox host is dog-whistling yet again. This is just an over-complicated way for Carlson to say he doesn’t want more brown people coming to the United States.
