Trump trial witness drops BOMBSHELL about 2016 election
In recent court testimony, David Pecker, former publisher of the National Enquirer and friend of Donald Trump, disclosed a coordinated effort between him and Trump to publish favorable stories about Trump and smear his opponents during the 2016 presidential campaign, directly contradicting Trump's denials. Pecker's admission supports claims of a "catch and kill" scheme aimed at influencing the election unlawfully, potentially constituting a crime under election law. Despite the absence of immediate consequences for Trump, Pecker's testimony marks a significant step for the prosecution, aligning with previous statements from Michael Cohen and shedding light on the extent of smear tactics employed. The revelation of fabricated stories, such as the false connection between Ted Cruz's father and JFK's assassin, underscores the questionable methods used to boost Trump's candidacy.
Confused Trump visibly disoriented, says "everybody wanted" Roe v Wade repeal
In an attempt to navigate the political turmoil following state bans on abortion, Donald Trump is making the case that “everybody” wanted Roe v. Wade to be overturned. Over the last two years, Republican candidates have suffered in the polls, and in some cases lost elections due to the abortion issue. This has prompted Trump to change his language on the abortion issue, out of fear that his three Supreme Court picks that helped overturn Roe could be his undoing in the 2024 race. Trump said this week, “The abortion issue has been really largely taken off the table because when we did this, we did what both sides, everybody wanted. Legal scholars wanted—everybody, they wanted to take abortion out of the federal system and put it into the states.” Trump’s attempt to lie and rewrite history likely won’t work, since a clear majority of Americans think the 50-year precedent should have been kept in place.
From yesterday’s show:
Biden surpasses Trump in betting markets, +9 in new poll
Joe Biden is now leading Donald Trump in a number of polls and in the betting markets, signaling significant shifts in the dynamics of the presidential race. This change is attributed not only to Donald Trump's legal challenges but also to the perceived stability and relatively uneventful nature of the Biden presidency. Betting markets reflect a growing confidence in Biden's potential victory, with him holding a substantial lead over Trump. Additionally, recent polls consistently show Biden ahead, including among voters from both the 2020 and 2022 elections. Even when considering third-party candidates, Biden maintains a solid lead in several polls. Despite Biden's favorable position in the popular vote, the Electoral College remains a pivotal factor, as Biden cannot win the White House without securing 270 electoral votes.
From yesterday’s show:
Tucker Carlson to Joe Rogan: We "don't know" where nuclear technology comes from
Tucker Carlson went on Joe Rogan's podcast last week and stirred controversy with his remarks about the origins of nuclear technology. He questioned the genesis of nuclear advancements, suggesting a lack of clarity regarding their origins. Some questioned whether Carlson's statements were rooted in a genuine lack of understanding or if they were strategic appeals to a specific audience following his departure from Fox News. There is a well-documented history of nuclear physics research, with contributions from scientists like Henri Becquerel, Marie and Pierre Curie, Otto Hahn, Fritz Strassmann, Lisa Meitner, and Otto Frisch. Also during this interview, Tucker questioned the Darwinian theory of evolution, which has been similarly met with skepticism and critique. Tucker’s falsehoods underscore the importance of factual accuracy and critical thinking, particularly when millions of people are watching.

I wish there was an 'On/Off' switch for D.J. Trump ... the endless lying and finagling are so old.
