Condiment Shortages Plague Nation, 4th of July in Danger
As we approach the 4th of July holiday this Monday, a number of different shortages pose a threat to the celebrations. There is a Siracha shortage due to an abysmal Spring crop of Mexican red jalapeños. A global mustard shortage is looming. More seriously, there is a medical contrast dye shortage, which is used to treat and diagnose stroke, aneurysm, and cardiac conditions. The global chip shortage continues, which isn’t expected to see relief until 2023. There is a shortage of nurses, which has worsened since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. A pilot shortage could lead to flight delays and cancellations, which we have already seen. Predictably, the right-wing is blaming all of these shortages on Joe Biden, and while they are a significant problem, hopefully everybody’s 4th of July will be OK nonetheless.
CIVIL WAR: Republican Says Boebert's "Christian Taliban" Must Be Stopped
Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger is lashing out at his Republican colleague Lauren Boebert, referring to her as a member of the “Christian Taliban.” Last Sunday, Boebert said that she is sick of this “separation of church and state junk,” insisting that “the church is supposed to direct the government.” Kinzinger fired back, tweeting that “There is no difference between this and the Taliban. We must oppose the Christian Taliban. I say this as a Christian.” Although Republicans love to talk about Sharia Law in the Middle East, they rarely call out the extremists within their own ranks, so it’s impressive to see Kinzinger take a stand against encroaching Christian theocracy and hopefully other Republicans will follow suit.
From yesterday’s show:
OOPS: Rudy Giuliani Admits to Pardon Request, Then Deletes It
Rudy Giuliani isn’t having a great week. First he claimed that he was nearly killed in a grocery store, when in point of fact he was merely patted on the back. Next, his son lost his election. Then, Cassidy Hutchinson testified that Giuliani wanted a pardon from Donald Trump, which he accidentally confessed to on Twitter. On June 28th, Giuliani tweeted that “I specifically told Donald Trump that I did not want or need a pardon.” The very next day, Giuliani tweeted “Contrary to her (Cassidy Hutchinson) false testimony, she was never present when I asked for a pardon.” Giuliani, realizing his mistake, subsequently deleted the tweet. Rudy’s precipitous fall from grace grows more embarrassing every time we cover him, and it’s amazing to think that he probably would have been uncritically beloved as “America’s Mayor” if only he hadn’t entangled himself with Trump.
Ginni Thomas is Too "Stressed" to Testify
More on the show:
Ginni Thomas’s lawyer says that she is too stressed out to testify before the January 6 committee. Ginni Thomas, the wife of Clarence Thomas, was intimately involved in the fake elector scheme of the 2020 election, whereby electors would vote for Trump instead of Biden despite Biden having won in their states. She was also involved in the lead-up to the January 6th riot, which potentially puts Clarence Thomas in a compromising position. Thomas, who initially said that she wanted to testify before the committee, now says that the recent SCOTUS rulings have left her too stressed out to appear publicly. Thomas’s sworn testimony could reveal information about her husband’s potential involvement in her schemes, which could be both unprecedented and incredibly damaging.

Republican Calls Out Christian Taliban, Shortages Continue
If the major crime in your country is domestic violence as bad as that is your actually doing pretty well cause you can't have a cop in everyone lounge room it the same with SCOTUS's anti-abortion law it's impossible to police and that's not even considering Alien inpregnation.
LOCK HIM UP! Lock him up for his own sake, Trump will eventually kill his wife and rape his daughter if the DOJ keeps doing nothing.
