Trump disconnected from reality, wants to be handcuffed at arrest
A recent report by New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Michael C. Bender paints a disturbing picture of former President Donald Trump's state of mind. It seems that Trump is entirely disconnected from reality and does not comprehend the severity of the legal jeopardy he is facing. Despite potentially facing three or more arrests and indictments in the coming months, Trump sees this as no big deal and even looks forward to being arrested and paraded before the media, believing it to be a potentially enjoyable experience. However, this demonstrates a shocking lack of awareness on Trump's part, as a public spectacle surrounding a Trump perp walk would do significant damage to his reputation in a general election. Trump's narcissistic tendencies are likely to blame for this disconnect, as he falsely believes that he could spin being charged with crimes as a positive thing. This revelation is concerning and highlights the urgent need for accountability and justice for any illegal actions Trump may have committed.
Trump's new hip-hop attorney instantly collapses on MSNBC
Donald Trump is facing accusations of election fraud in Georgia, which is a serious matter given his already damaged reputation. However, when Drew Findling, the criminal defense attorney representing Trump in this case, appeared on MSNBC to discuss the evidence supporting Trump's defense, he failed to provide any convincing evidence. Despite being asked for evidence by Ari Melber, Findling could only talk about the context and interpretation of Trump's words, rather than providing any clear evidence of his innocence. This exchange not only made Trump look guilty but also highlighted the inadequacy of his defense team. If Trump truly had a strong defense, his attorneys would have presented it with conviction and clarity. As it stands, his legal team's weak defense only serves to strengthen the allegations against him.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump suggests DeSantis might be gay in latest smear
The 2024 Republican primary may still be in its early stages, but the feud between Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis is already reaching new heights of ugliness. In a recent post on Truth Social, Trump went after the Florida governor, making baseless and offensive claims about his sexuality and potential as a sexual predator. Trump wrote, "Ron DeSanctimonious will probably find out about FALSE ACCUSATIONS & FAKE STORIES sometime in the future, as he gets older, wiser, and better known, when he’s unfairly and illegally attacked by a woman, even classmates that are ‘underage’ (or possibly a man!). I’m sure he will want to fight these misfits just like I do!" Not content to stop there, Trump also attacked DeSantis's polling numbers, despite them being respectable for someone who has not even declared his candidacy. He wrote, "Ron DeSanctimonious is dropping in the Polls so fast that he soon may be falling behind young Vivek Ramaswamy." As the drama between these two figures continues to escalate, we can only expect more mudslinging and personal attacks as the primary heats up.
From yesterday’s show:
Ron DeSantis straddles Trump and Stormy Daniels
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis weighed in on the news about Donald Trump supposedly getting indicted soon, and straddled the fence between defending and criticizing the former president. DeSantis played to both sides of the issue by attacking Trump for paying off Daniels while also suggesting that politically motivated prosecutors are involved in the case. He specifically cited Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. as a Soros-funded prosecutor who weaponizes his office to impose a political agenda on society. This issue for DeSantis is that his attempt to play both sides of the issue won’t get him any more supporters. Every other Republican who has taken this approach of dealing with Trump has failed and there’s no indication that DeSantis will be able to overcome that.

Hello David,
This is Garrick from Illinois and I’m writing to you about last night’s show (Tue. 3/21/23). You opened your show with all of the small accomplishments President Biden has done in his last year or so. Since Jaime Harrison, Democratic Party leader, won’t market the democratic party to the masses I was quite pleased that you did.
Please make this an occasional part of your (not you’re) show since the Dems don’t know how to do this. I love your show and watch you every night on FreespeechTV and I especially love your Friday night shows with the viewer/listener calls.
Cheers,
Garrick
