Fauci Wants Fox Host FIRED Over "Kill Shot" Comment
Dr. Anthony Fauci is calling for Fox News host Jesse Watters to be fired over recent comments Watters made at the right-wing America Fest event in Phoenix, Arizona. Watters suggested that people confront Fauci and tell him that he funded research at the Wuhan lab and then “boom, he is dead, he is dead, he’s done. You do that, thirty seconds, it’s all you need.” Watters also used the terms “ambush” and “kill shot” when making his suggestions. Of course, Watters can just hide behind these being rhetorical devices and claim he doesn’t want anyone to literally kill Anthony Fauci. But given the vitriol against the nation’s top infectious disease doctor from the right, and given that Fauci has received a multitude of death threats, Watters should have known better. Fauci responded this week to the Fox host’s comments and said that he should be “fired on the spot.” Fauci told CNN’s John Berman, “what kind of craziness is there in society these days? That’s awful that he said that. And he’s going to go, very likely, unaccountable. I mean whatever network he’s on is not going to do anything for him.” Unfortunately, Fauci’s prediction here is most likely going to be correct and hopefully his life is not put in even more danger over Watters’ comments.
Bill O'Reilly Had to Console Heartbroken Trump After Getting Booed
It turns out that ex-Fox News host Bill O’Reilly had to console Donald Trump after Trump got booed at a recent event of theirs. O’Reilly mentioned to the audience that both he and the former president have been vaccinated and then he asked Trump, “did you get the booster?” Trump thought about it for a second and said “yes.” This prompted some audience members to boo and jeer him and Trump waved his hand at the crowd and said, “don’t, don’t, don’t.” Days later, O’Reilly went on Dan Abrams’ News Nation show and said that he had to console Trump over the boos he received. O’Reilly said, “he called me, he was hurt by their reaction. I said, ‘this is good for you, this is good that people see another side of you, not a political side. You told the truth. You believe in the facts. Your administration did it and you should take credit for it because it did save, I don’t know, hundreds of thousands of lives.’” As we’ve seen over the years, Trump is such a thin-skinned individual and he craves approval from others more than anything. Even something so trivial as getting booed for even just a few seconds upset him so much that he had to call up Bill O’Reilly so the two could talk it out.
From yesterday’s show:
Sarah Palin Would Rather Die Than Get Vaccinated
Sarah Palin, former Alaska Governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, said at a recent conservative event that she will not be getting the COVID vaccine. Palin spoke at Turning Point USA’s America Fest and told Charlie Kirk, “we were led to believe that we wouldn’t have to have the shot. Well, then they changed their tune and now those of us who have had COVID, they’re telling us that even though we’ve had it and we have natural immunity that we still have to get a shot. It will be over my dead body that I’ll have to get a shot. I will not do it.” Palin probably should have chosen her words more carefully, since more than 800,000 Americans have died from COVID since the start of the pandemic. The former governor went on to suggest that people shouldn’t get the vaccine even if they haven’t gotten COVID saying, “there are more of us than there are of them,” which isn’t true since more than 200 million Americans are now fully vaccinated. As bad as Donald Trump’s rhetoric has been on the vaccines over the past year, Sarah Palin’s comments are even more dangerous.
From yesterday’s show:
Steve Bannon TURNS on McConnell For "Betraying" Trump
Steve Bannon is unhappy with Mitch McConnell for not being a full-on supporter of Donald Trump. Last Friday on his “War Room” show, Bannon said about McConnell, “he is a direct challenge to President Trump and Trump is trying to lead this country through these horrible times. Mitch McConnell, that dirt bag right there, gave the Biden regime $2.5 trillion to fund their madness.” It’s hard to tell what “madness” Bannon is referring to and why conservatives are so upset with the Biden administration so far. Biden has passed a COVID stimulus bill and an infrastructure package along with ending the war in Afghanistan. None of these actions should be met with the rage the right-wing is giving them since they’re all things that Trump said he wanted to do. Bannon also was upset over McConnell working out a deal with Biden to raise the debt ceiling which routinely has taken place under Democratic and Republican presidents over the years. What Trump supporters like Bannon are really mad about is the fact that they lost the 2020 election, and like their dear leader, they simply can’t seem to get over it.
