LAUREN BOEBERT INVOLVED IN POSSIBLE CHILD ABUSE COVERUP
Republican congresswoman Lauren Boebert faces allegations of potentially covering up her husband's alleged child abuse against their own child. Boebert, known for her vocal Christianity-based views on government and morality, announced she recently was getting divorced from her husband. This followed an incident in December when her teenage son called 911 to report his father's abuse. Lauren intervened on the call, asserting that her son was fine and retracting the allegations. Speculation arose that she orchestrated the retraction to protect her husband. Additionally, Boebert's husband has a prior arrest record for public indecency. These revelations expose the hypocrisy of individuals like Boebert, who claim moral authority while engaging in potential cover-ups. The truth regarding the alleged abuse is yet to be determined, but it is crucial to address these matters through proper legal channels.
DAMN: Mike Pence about to challenge Trump for '24 nomination?
Vice President Mike Pence's upcoming CNN town hall has raised questions about his intentions for the presidency, considering he is not an official candidate. CNN announced the event, scheduled for June 7th, where Pence will engage with Iowa Republicans and voters participating in the Republican caucuses. While Pence has not declared his candidacy, reports suggest that he is laying the groundwork for a potential 2024 presidential run. This prospect is particularly remarkable, as Pence would potentially be running against his former boss, Donald Trump. Currently, Pence ranks third in the Republican primary polls, trailing behind Trump and Ron DeSantis. Although Pence's chances of securing the Republican nomination are uncertain, his potential challenge to Trump's leadership could trigger a significant reaction from the former president, given his sensitivity to those he considers disloyal to him.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump wildly triggered, launches sick DeSantis attack ad
Former President Donald Trump launched an attack ad on Ron DeSantis, referring to him as a "swamp creature" even before DeSantis officially announced his presidential campaign. This ad offers a glimpse into the lines of attack that may dominate the upcoming Republican primary campaign. The ad claims that DeSantis has repeatedly voted to cut Social Security and Medicare while proposing a 23% national sales tax to replace Trump's tax cuts. While the claim about the sales tax is not entirely false, it is misleading. DeSantis supported a fair tax proposal that aimed to simplify the tax code by eliminating income taxes, payroll taxes, estate taxes, and gift taxes, while implementing a 23% sales tax. This proposal would have significantly lowered taxes for the wealthy. The ad also accuses DeSantis of voting against funding for Trump's border wall. As the primary unfolds, it is expected to be a contentious and divisive race, with Trump's frequent falsehoods about DeSantis adding to the complexity.
From yesterday’s show:
Fox slams DeSantis announcement: "What the heck is Twitter Spaces?"
Ron DeSantis' decision to announce his presidential campaign on Twitter Spaces drew criticism and ridicule even before the technical disasters and low-energy speech took place. One such instance was on Fox and Friends, where the hosts mocked DeSantis for choosing Twitter Spaces as his platform. This shift in tone from praising Tim Scott to making fun of DeSantis has raised questions about Fox News' motivations. There are two primary interpretations: one suggests that Fox sees DeSantis as a potential threat to Trump and attacks him while propping up candidates like Scott who are perceived to have no chance, ultimately keeping Trump in the spotlight. The other interpretation posits that Fox genuinely prefers a non-Trump candidate but has decided that DeSantis is not the one they want, leading them to mock him and praise Scott. Ultimately, Fox News' priority is maintaining access to those in power, and their perspective on the primary race will become clearer in the coming weeks.
