Madison Cawthorn Loser Farewell Speech: "Soft Metrosexuals"
Madison Cawthorn delivered his farewell speech on the House floor this week since he soon won't be a congressman after losing his Republican primary race to Chuck Edwards. During the address, Cawthorn warned about "soft metrosexuals" that are supposedly threatening American manhood. He said, “our young men are taught that weakness is strength, that delicacy is desirable, and that being a soft metrosexual is more valuable than training the mind, body, and soul. Social media has weakened us, stifling our men of their will to fight.” Madison in this address spoke to conservatives' need to be afraid of other people. In this case it was "metrosexuals" but in other cases, it's immigrants or socialists or trans people that they feel the need to live in fear of. Even though Cawthorn is leaving Congress, the right will have plenty of other people they can use as a mouthpiece for these talking points.
Small Govt MAGA: Investigate Apple for NOT Advertising on Twitter
Congressman Jim Jordan is showing that he doesn't have any principles and isn't actually a small-government pro-business conservative. Jordan went on Sean Hannity's Fox News show to speak about how he apparently wants to investigate Apple because they stopped advertising on Twitter. He said, "why is Apple no longer advertising on Twitter or pulling back some of their ads? Have they gone woke?" It's well within Apple's rights to conduct business and advertise with whomever they want. Republicans like Jordan claim to support the free market and rights for business until it affects some other interest they want to prioritize.

Mike Pence Challenges Trump for Most Absurd Interview
Former Vice President Mike Pence has been doing the rounds on television to sell his book and prod at the possibility of a 2024 presidential run. Pence was on Fox News's "Outnumbered" and he was asked directly about whether he is going to challenge Donald Trump for the White House. Pence sidestepped the question and spoke about how he's proud of his career and will discuss a possible run with his family over the holidays. The former VP will likely be meeting with consultants and weighing whether he'd actually have a shot at winning. It's possible Pence will run even if he doesn't think he has a shot but believes he can get some other benefit out of it. If he does ultimately decide to challenge Trump it would create a primary match-up that is unprecedented in modern American history, since a former VP would be going up against his former boss.

Trump Completely Loses It AGAIN in Middle of Night
Donald Trump went on Truth Social at 1:30 in the morning to rant and rave about the issues keeping him up at night. Out of nowhere, Trump attacked Republican strategist Karl Rove, writing, “RINO Karl Rove is a Fox News loser, a pompous fool with bad political instincts. In other words, he loses a lot. Only good at taking peoples money, and wasting it.” Then Trump attacked Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, saying, “….Also 12-0 in Senate Endorsements against the Broken Old Crow, Mitch McConnell, who has, by the way, a 6 % Approval Rating - Not exactly great news for the Republican Party!” It's unclear how exactly Trump counts his endorsements but he's probably just making the numbers up. If there's any silver lining to Trump's late-night social media posts, it's that they're not happening on Twitter so fewer people are actually seeing them.
