Trump Out of Control, Blurts Out "I Won!"
Outgoing President Donald Trump has now gone about a month without taking any questions from reporters. Ever since his reelection loss, Trump has mostly disappeared from the public eye, only leaving the White House on the weekends to play golf at his Virginia resort. Last week, Trump held his second press briefing since the networks called the election. The presser was scheduled around an announcement from the Trump administration that they will be working to lower prescription drug prices. Trump was able to stick to the script for the most part, except for one moment when he referenced “the campaign, which I won by the way, but you know, we’ll find that out.”
There were a few other awkward moments during the press conference. At one point, Trump seemingly misspoke and said that he’s been loyal to special interests, which politicians never admit. Trump alleged that the vaccine announcement from Pfizer was held until after the election because pharmaceutical companies didn’t want him to win. Trump suggested that he might have won if the vaccine news was announced before November 3rd, which is strange since he simultaneously argues that he did win the election. Trump once again wrapped up the press briefing without taking any questions while reporters shouted out asking if he had any plans to concede the election to President-Elect Biden.
Trump Lawyer Very Sick, Claims Fraud Filing "Biblical"
The second-most prominent lawyer for Trump’s voter fraud case, behind only Rudy Giuliani, has been Sydney Powell. Powell took part in that bizarre press conference last week wherein she played strange word association games that linked Antifa, George Soros, Hugo Chavez, and the Clinton Foundation to alleged voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Powell had promised to “release the kraken,” implying she had definitive proof of millions of votes getting switched from Trump to Biden and that she was going to unveil it imminently. The kraken never got released, or it just wasn’t much of a kraken at all because the Trump legal team is still fumbling around trying to find anything that can pass as evidence in a courtroom.
It appears as though the Trump campaign is already trying to distance itself from Powell. Giuliani released a statement over the weekend saying that “Sydney Powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the Trump legal team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity.” The more Powell appeared in public, the more she seemed out of her mind and apparently the Trump legal team caught onto that. In a recent Newsmax interview, Powell said they will be filing a new lawsuit to contest the results in Georgia and that “it will be biblical.” We’ll wait and see if the Trump team replaces Powell with someone even more detached from reality.
From over the weekend:
Trump PANICKING Over His Massive Debt
A live caller asked about Donald Trump having to pay back the massive amounts of debt he owes when he leaves office in January. According to the infamous New York Times tax return story, Trump owes about $400 million to Deutsche Bank and other lenders. He has been able to avoid making payments over the past four years because of an exemption he has for being a sitting president. Much of Donald Trump’s freak out over losing has to do with his ego and his desire to not be seen as a loser. Secondarily, it’s possible that concerns like having to pay back millions he doesn’t have or facing prison time for possible crimes are also contributing to Trump’s meltdown.
