Echoing Trump has audio disaster during ridiculous interview
In his relentless pursuit of victimhood, former President Donald Trump posted a number of “Truths” to his social media site. First, Trump decried the judgment against him in the E. Jean Carroll lawsuit which found him liable for sexual abuse and defamation. He posted, “I don’t know E. Jean Carroll, I never met her or touched her . . . I wouldn’t want to know or touch her, I never abused her or raped her or took her to a dressing room 25 years ago in a crowded department store where the doors are LOCKED, she has no idea when, or did anything else to her, except deny her Fake, Made Up Story, that she wrote in a book. IT NEVER HAPPENED, IS A TOTAL SCAM, UNFAIR TRIAL!” Then, Trump went on to complain about and respond to Fox News showing polling that demonstrates Ron DeSantis is more likely to defeat Joe Biden than he is. Trump posted, “. . . The poll your looking at now, which has me doing far better against Crooked Joe, was just put out by FOX, I am sure unhappily. I’m also leading DeSanctus by over 40 points in Primary Voting. Watch Greg Kelly on Newsmax at 10:00 P.M.” Despite all of the complaining, the unwavering support of the MAGA movement ensures Trump's dominance within the Republican Party, leaving little doubt that he will secure the nomination unless truly unforeseen circumstances arise.
OH NO: Anti-drag Marjorie Taylor Greene's boyfriend caught in drag
Marjorie Taylor Greene, known for her outspoken opposition to drag shows and everything associated with them, is now responding to recent revelations that her boyfriend, Right Side Broadcasting reporter Brian Glenn, dressed in drag. One might expect Greene to denounce such behavior, given her vehement stance against it. But instead, Greene defended him. Despite previously branding drag as grooming, dangerous, and obscene, Greene now seems to believe that it's acceptable as long as it's done in the context of promoting a local theater production. She posted to Twitter, “I’m literally lol’ing. @brianglenntv dressed in drag for morning news in Dallas years ago reporting on an upcoming local theatre production and the morons over at Patriot Takes think this is an attack.Brian loves the throwback and is reposting. 😂The left is so stupid.” Marjorie Taylor Greene is merely the latest addition to a long list of Republican figures who espouse one thing while practicing another and carving out exceptions for themselves and their loved ones. It's a stark reminder that political hypocrisy knows no bounds when it comes to so many of these right-wingers.
From yesterday’s show:
Fox host Laura Ingraham casually retracts fake story, moves on
Fox News propagandist Laura Ingraham casually retracted a false story about homeless veterans being displaced from hotels to accommodate undocumented immigrants. In a brief statement before a commercial break, she acknowledged that the story turned out to be completely fabricated, expressing confusion over why anyone would make it up. The network had devoted significant airtime to the story, running it for days without proper sourcing. The irony of Fox News feigning innocence and questioning the motive behind spreading such falsehoods highlights the network's tendency to traffic in misinformation. Fox News needs to take more accountability as this is part of a pattern where false stories are sensationalized and retracted with minimal attention. They should be especially aware of this, given they just had to pay out a nearly $800 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems after several hosts spread lies about the 2020 election. But apparently, they haven’t yet learned this lesson and will continue to misinform their viewers.
From yesterday’s show:
Tim Scott challenging Trump for Republican nomination, campaign dead on arrival
South Carolina Senator Tim Scott announced that he’s running for president, challenging Donald Trump for the 2024 Republican nomination. Scott's candidacy appears to be dead on arrival as he’s only averaging one or two percent in the polls. The South Carolina senator is running on a vision of religion guiding civil government, despite this being dangerous to non-religious folks and contrary to the intentions of the founding fathers. Scott is opposed to abortion rights, has made controversial statements about immigration, and refused to vote for Donald Trump's impeachment convictions. One can’t help but wonder about Tim Scott's motivations for running for president, given he’s a long shot to actually win. Perhaps his candidacy is meant to raise his name recognition or secure a higher position in government because it’s difficult to believe that Trump supporters would be persuaded by Scott’s campaign.
