BREAKING: Rudy Giuliani Tests Positive for Coronavirus & Idiocy
Donald Trump’s personal lawyer and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has tested positive for COVID-19. Trump confirmed the diagnosis yesterday on Twitter, writing Giuliani “has tested positive for the China Virus. Get better soon Rudy, we will carry on!!!” The news was not shocking at all since Giuliani has been traveling all over the country surrounding himself with mask-less people. It’s likely that Rudy exposed people to the virus at his recent “election fraud” hearings in Michigan and Arizona. Giuliani has checked into a hospital. He is 76 years old which makes him much more at risk of succumbing to the disease.
There is a real question as to how this is going to affect Trump’s efforts to promote his bogus voter fraud narrative and overturn the results of the election. With Sidney Powell kicked out of the Trump legal team and Giuliani in the hospital, maybe Jenna Ellis will take charge of the fight. Unfortunately, she has also been exposed to coronavirus after having been with Rudy all week (according to CDC guidelines, she now has to quarantine). This has to be a major blow to Trump’s legal team, which was already floundering. Unremarkably, the news is being taken by some Trump supporters as further evidence that the election was rigged and that the left is trying to sideline Rudy.
Historically Disastrous Trump Rally Goes Horribly Wrong
Despite Donald Trump losing the 2020 election, the outgoing president is still holding campaign rallies. Trump flew down to Valdosta, Georgia for an event ostensibly for the two Republican Senators on the ballot for the January 5th runoff elections. However, Trump barely spoke about the incumbent Republicans on the ballot, Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue. Trump instead spent the vast majority of the time talking about himself and barely gave Loeffler and Perdue any time to speak. Many of the Trump supporters in attendance were upset with Loeffler and Perdue for not fighting hard enough for Trump since he lost reelection.
During the rally, Trump simultaneously argued that the presidential election in Georgia was rigged against him, while also making the case that everyone needs to go out and vote for Loeffler and Perdue. At several points during the speech, Trump came close to accidentally conceding, before back-peddling and insisting he won. True to form, Trump also spent much of the time rambling about random topics like what kinds of vegetables he likes and how the left is waging a war on Christmas. He also told the crowd to vote on June 5th, which is five months after the actual election day, January 5th.
From over the weekend:
GOP Official EXPLODES on Trump: Stop Inspiring Violence
Georgia Voting Implementation Manager Gabriel Sterling got enraged with fellow Republicans at his press conference last week. Sterling explained that due to Trump’s baseless allegations of voter fraud, some Georgia election officials are getting threats. He went on to say firmly that “this has to stop” and called out the president and Republican lawmakers for not condemning threats of violence against election officials. Sterling appeared to address Trump directly, telling him that there’s no path for victory and that he’s free to run in 2024. Sadly, most Republican lawmakers are complicit in the Trump coup because they don’t have the courage to stand up to him.
