It's Over TODAY, Electoral College Votes
Today is December 14th, which is Election Day in the United States. However, it’s not the election day when the citizens of America vote — that was on November 3rd. Today is the day when electors in states across the country (and DC) cast their ballots to determine who will be the next president. Assuming there are no faithless electors, Joe Biden will get 306 electoral college votes and Donald Trump will get 232. Biden only needs 270 votes to become the nation’s 46th President. The states to watch today are Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Nevada, since the Trump campaign has tried to contest the results in all of them. Though the votes will be cast today, they will not be counted by Congress until January 6th.
Some view today as Trump’s last stand but he has vowed to make a mockery out of the American electoral system until the very end. While Trump is powerless to stop electors from voting in statehouses across the country, he will likely make a play when the votes are counted next month. As dictated by the Constitution, Vice President Mike Pence will oversee the counting of the electoral votes in January. Over a hundred Republican congresspeople will try their best to disrupt the counting process. The effort will fail but it will accomplish Trump’s agenda of discrediting democracy and making it seem to his supporters like he won.
Trump Humiliated in Disastrous Interview
Donald Trump took a break from rage-tweeting in the White House to attend the Army vs. Navy football game over the weekend. While at the game, Trump did a brief interview with Brian Kilmeade of Fox & Friends. Kilmeade’s interview was so sycophantic it might have been part of a play to prove that Fox News isn’t as liberal as the far-right contests. The Fox host started out by playing into the narrative that the military was depleted at the time Trump took over and that there was not enough ammunition. When asked about the rollout of the Pfizer vaccine, rather than looking forward and giving the delivery plan, Trump bragged about how fast the vaccines were developed and how no one but him could have done it.
No post-election interview with Trump can be had without discussing the “rigged election” claims, so they did just that. Trump insisted that his legal team is only failing so much because the courts are throwing their cases out due to technicalities, but really they should be winning all of them. The outgoing president claimed that on election night, “bookies” had Trump winning the election and they weren’t placing any more bets, therefore he must have won. Even if this were true, it wouldn’t be evidence of anything. Trump wrapped up by saying Joe Biden would be an illegitimate president if he gets sworn in, and he refused to answer if he’ll be with Biden for the transition of power on January 20th.

Fox News EXPLODES, Host LOSES IT on Trump Adviser
Donald Trump’s most ardent supporters are angry and starting to turn on each other. Stephen Miller, Trump’s senior policy adviser, went on Lou Dobbs’s show recently to discuss overturning the results of the 2020 election. Miller tried to get away with saying the basic platitudes about how there was an injustice being done to the country and that Biden only won because of widespread voter fraud. Dobbs wasn’t having it though, because he didn’t believe Miller was personally doing enough to change the outcome. Dobbs especially took issue with the White House’s reluctance to allow Ted Cruz to argue the president’s case in the Supreme Court. Miller was shocked to get such adversarial questions from an interviewer who is otherwise an ally of his.
