Was Madison Cawthorn's Marriage a Russian Setup?
Madison Cawthorn is getting divorced from his wife after a year of marriage and the break up is raising questions about a newly resurfaced video wherein Cawthorn explains how the two originally met. In the video, Cawthorn says that he went on a trip to Scandinavia with his friends and they took a boat trip over to Saint Petersburg, Russia. While there, he went to a casino and befriended a supposed US Army captain named Todd who was from Miami, Florida. When Cawthorn found himself in Miami for a work trip a year and a half later, Todd invited him to compete in a CrossFit competition in the city. But when Madison arrived, it turned out the competition was all just a ruse to get him set up with the woman who would eventually become his wife. The entire saga wreaks of Russian kompromat or some type of honeypot situation, although there’s as of now no evidence pointing to that beyond this bizarre story about how the two met.
Trump in MAJOR Anti-Vax Trouble, Goes to Marjorie Taylor Greene
Donald Trump has been panicking over losing his anti-vaccine base of support ever since announcing to the world that he got the COVID-19 booster shot. Now, Trump has once again found himself in hot water after clashing with right-wing personality Candace Owens over vaccine efficacy. As a result, Trump is seeking refuge with Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene in the hopes that her support can ward off more criticism. He spoke with Greene recently, and the congresswoman put out the following statement about their conversation on Twitter: “I have President Trump’s permission to tell you all that he is 100% AGAINST the mandates, but he still encourages everyone to get the vaccine and booster.” Greene went on to explain in the statement that if Trump were still president, he wouldn’t mandate vaccines at the federal level and no one would be fired over refusing them. This is bizarre crisis management, with Trump using Marjorie Taylor Greene of all people to serve as his public relations agent. It’s truly telling that the one time Trump feels the need to do this is in response to the backlash he received for telling the truth about vaccines.
From yesterday’s show:
Alex Jones TURNS on Trump: "Ignorant...Evil"
Alex Jones is growing more openly critical of Donald Trump now that Trump is becoming a more vocal advocate of vaccination and admitted to getting a booster shot. Jones did an “emergency” episode of his Infowars show on Christmas Day and had some choice words for the former president. He said, “you are either completely ignorant about the so-called vaccine gene therapy that you helped ram through with Operation Warp Speed, or you’re one of the most evil men who has ever lived to push this toxic poison on the public and to attack your constituents when they simply try to save their lives and the lives of others.” Jones must have assessed that he can no longer profit off of the Trump grift, or he senses weakness in Trump and thinks there’s a chance for him to become the new figurehead among the anti-vaxxer portion of his voter base. The more that these people are fighting with each other, the less they’ll be able to put together functional campaigns going into the 2022 and 2024 election cycles.
From yesterday’s show:
Bizarre Trump Interview by Mike Huckabee Goes Bad Fast
Donald Trump did an interview with former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee ahead of the holiday weekend. The exchange was presented with corny music and stock footage of families celebrating Christmas, which added to the bizarre nature of everything going on. In the interview, Trump claims that a key accomplishment of his campaign and administration was getting people to say “Merry Christmas” again. The former president said, “the country had started with this woke, I guess a little bit before [my campaign]. And it was embarrassing for stores to say ‘Merry Christmas,’ you’d see these big chains, they want your money but they don’t want to say ‘Merry Christmas.’” Obviously, there has been no conscious movement of stores moving away from saying “Happy Holidays” over to “Merry Christmas” over the past six years and there tends to be a mix of both phrases. But the idea of Trump claiming this was a campaign priority and achievement of his is laughable considering how truly insignificant it is when compared to actual issues facing the country.
