Trump announces he will violate Constitution on day 1 in sick video
Donald Trump has announced his intention to sign an executive order on the first day of his potential second term as president, ending birthright citizenship as guaranteed by the 14th Amendment. Trump's proposal has drawn criticism, with concerns raised about its constitutionality and potential negative consequences. Opponents argue that such a move would violate the Constitution and Supreme Court precedent, leading to prolonged legal challenges. They also point out that ending birthright citizenship could significantly increase the undocumented population and disrupt immigration processes. The proposal is seen as contradictory to Trump's supposed support for the Constitution and may tarnish the international image of the United States as a nation that embraces immigrants. Additionally, there are worries about its impact on the economy, as it could reduce the labor force, tax base, and consumer demand. While the likelihood of Trump actually implementing this plan remains uncertain, it would likely be hugely determinantal and ruled unconstitutional.
UH-OH: DeSantis UP 15% vs Trump since 2024 announcement
Since Ron DeSantis announced his presidential bid, his polling numbers have seen a 15% increase, while Donald Trump's numbers have dropped by 5%. It's important to understand the distinction between percentage points and percentages, as a 5-point increase represents a 50% rise. On average, Trump's polling has declined from 56.3% to 53.2%, while DeSantis has risen from 19.4% to 22.4%. It remains uncertain whether this indicates a turning point or a temporary surge for DeSantis and a decline for Trump, potentially influenced by DeSantis receiving more media attention. Looking at historical data, early frontrunners this time the year before the election do not always become the eventual nominees. However, Trump's status as a former president adds a unique aspect to consider. Over the past ten days, The future trajectory of DeSantis’s campaign remains uncertain but at least now it looks like he has a fighting chance.

HOLY $&!T: DeSantis would PARDON TRUMP if he becomes President
During an interview on “The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show,” Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis discussed the topic of pardons and expressed his willingness to consider pardoning former President Donald Trump if he were elected. DeSantis emphasized the need for fair treatment and examined cases where individuals may have been subject to political targeting or unequal application of justice. He suggested that pardons should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, including instances where disfavored treatment based on politics or weaponization had occurred. The truth is that pardoning Trump, who is facing multiple investigations including for his alleged role in inciting the January 6th insurrection, would send a message that he is above the law and this could embolden extremist elements. Furthermore, it is seen as a divisive move that would deepen polarization and erode public trust in the government. In contrast, President Joe Biden has chosen to avoid the question of pardoning Trump, opting not to get involved and maintaining a stance of neutrality.

Newt Gingrich admits DEVASTATING reason Trump will win
In an interview on Fox News, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich highlighted the potential impact of former President Donald Trump on the future of the Republican Party. Discussing the entry of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis into the 2024 presidential primary, Gingrich acknowledged DeSantis' intelligence but pointed out his struggle to connect with voters of lower education levels compared to Trump. The conversation delved into the importance of effectively conveying political ideas to the average voter, with the Republican Party being criticized for pandering to ignorance and rejecting facts and science. This, coupled with a lack of investment in public education, has alienated educated and independent voters. The discussion raises doubts about DeSantis' ability to differentiate himself from Trump and resonate with a broader Republican electorate, highlighting the challenges facing the party in terms of effective communication and appealing to a diverse range of voters.
