DeSantis' Twitter event so bad, even TRUMP brutally trolls him
Ron DeSantis announced that he’s running for president last night via Twitter Spaces with Twitter owner Elon Musk. The event was a total disaster, riddled with technical issues that included audio dropping out, feedback loops, and the announcement getting delayed half an hour. Clearly, Twitter wasn’t prepared to host the audio-only event and this goes to show the troubles the social media site has had ever since Musk took over. It’s also a horrific start to a presidential campaign that is supposed to get people inspired and excited. Donald Trump took advantage of the technical mishaps with several posts to Truth Social. He wrote, “Wow! The DeSanctus TWITTER launch is a DISASTER! His whole campaign will be a disaster. WATCH!” And then, “Tim Scott’s Presidential launch, even with the broken microphone (don’t pay the contractor, Tim!), was by far the best Presidential launch of the week. Robs was a catastrophe!” Doing the launch via Twitter Spaces was a terrible campaign decision as it’s taken the wind out of DeSantis’s sails and has provided Trump with more material to attack him on.
DeSantis suffers talking point coma live on Fox News
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, following his lackluster presidential announcement on Twitter Spaces, gave his first interview as a candidate on Fox News. During the interview with guest host Trey Gowdy, DeSantis fell into a repetitive talking point coma, incessantly using the term “woke” and even delving into an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory. Critics argue that DeSantis's invocation of “cultural Marxism” is nothing more than a far-right conspiracy theory associated with thinly veiled anti-Semitism, as it misrepresents actual Marxism and focuses on cultural and social issues that Marxism does not prioritize. When DeSantis was asked about how he differs from former President Trump, he failed to provide a clear answer and instead highlighted policy successes in Florida and his overwhelming reelection victory. Overall, DeSantis's interview raised questions about his ability to sway MAGA voters away from Trump and left many skeptical about his nascent presidential campaign.

Kari Lake does Trump dirty work, character assassinates Ron DeSantis
Kari Lake is clearly auditioning to become Donald Trump’s running mate following her failed attempt to become governor of Arizona. She has wasted no time in criticizing Ron DeSantis, who announced his candidacy for president yesterday. Lake said, “So far, Governor DeSantis has been outworked and outmaneuvered by Disney. As far as I know, Reedy Creek still exists. They're still hosting trans events at their park. This indoctrination is continuing and they're actually rubbing it in the faces of American families. You know, if you can't beat Donald Duck, how are you going to beat Donald Trump?” Many Trump supporters have held back from attacking Ron DeSantis because they generally like his policies and his culture war antics. However, now that DeSantis is officially challenging Trump for the Republican presidential nomination, the gloves are coming off. Clearly, Lake wants to position herself as one of the first to attack the Florida governor so that Trump is more likely to reward her when it’s time to pick his running mate.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump criminal trial scheduled for March, MIDDLE of 2024 election
Donald Trump’s criminal trial in New York is set for March 2024, which will collide with what may be one of the busiest periods of the Republican primary contest. Judge Juan Merchan set the trial date, which could potentially create a media spectacle during the primary season. Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts, and he is permitted to publicly defend himself against the allegations since there is no gag order in place. However, he must comply with the specific terms of the protective order or face potential sanctions. Trump's lawyers have also filed a motion to move the case to federal court, which could potentially disrupt the current schedule. The next hearing is set for January 4, 2024. It remains to be seen how Trump will navigate the trial while securing the delegates needed for the nomination. Additionally, there may be further legal issues arising in Georgia and Washington D.C. in the coming months.

DeSantis launch event collapses, global humiliation
Just a minute. We WANT DeSantis to win the nomination so that Trump is out of the picture. If Trump is allowed to get away with trashing DeSantis, WE will pay for it come election time. Joe Biden would easily win the election if Ron DeSantis is running against him. We don't WANT a strong Republican candidate. We want a loser.
