Absolute Chaos on Fox News as Every Guest Loses Connection
In a story that provides some comedic relief, guest after guest managed to lose their connection while on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show last night. Part of this may have had to do with snowstorms hitting parts of the South, resulting in power outages and internet issues in affected areas. True to form, every time a connection glitch would unfold, Tucker would stare into the camera with his trademark confused resting face.
Carlson had former Energy Secretary and former Texas Governor Rick Perry on to discuss the ongoing crisis. When the Fox host asked Perry about why Texas didn’t have the resources to keep the power on, Perry’s internet connection cut out leaving the Skype loading window up on screen. Tucker looked confused as ever and after about twenty seconds he finally began to realize what was going on. Later on, Carlson had Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on the show to discuss people moving to the Sunshine State to avoid coronavirus restrictions. This time the issue was with the audio, as DeSantis could not pick up what Tucker was saying. Carlson again became confused before making an impassioned critique of windmills and then moving on with the rest of his show.
Biden CANCELS Trump Border Wall Funding
President Biden has canceled the national emergency order issued by the Trump administration to fund construction of the US-Mexico border wall. After the government shutdown of 2018 to 2019, Trump made the executive decision to transfer money from the military to help construct his pet project. By the time he left office, around $18 billion had been spent on refortifying parts of the wall as well as some additional construction. In Trump’s final days in office, he visited Texas to do a photo-op with the wall, where he urged the incoming Biden administration to complete the job, despite also claiming to have completed it already.
Biden chose to ignore Trump’s wishes with this order to halt the construction project. In a letter on Thursday, Biden said he would seek a review of "all resources appropriated or redirected" to the border wall. Biden has undone many other Trump-era immigration policies, including with an order to reunite migrant families split up at the border and an executive order to reinstate the Obama-era DACA program. These changes start to do the work of undoing the national disgrace that was Trump’s immigration agenda. The Trump border wall project was meritless, futile, and a colossal waste of money. Biden was correct to move swiftly to cancel it.

Republican SNAPS at Trump: "Who the F*** Do You Think You're Talking To?"
In the late phases of Donald Trump’s second Senate impeachment trial, details emerged about a call that took place between then-President Trump and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy during the Capitol insurrection. McCarthy implored Trump during the call to call off the rioters who were rummaging through offices and being violent with police officers. Trump initially responded by saying the insurrectionists were Antifa. When that excuse didn’t work on McCarthy, Trump followed up with, “well, Kevin, I guess these people are more upset about the election than you are.” This enraged McCarthy who yelled into the phone, “who the f--k do you think you are talking to?” Despite all the bluster, McCarthy ultimately chose not to impeach Trump on the charge of incitement of insurrection.
