MyPillow Guy TOO CRAZY for Newsmax, Host WALKS OFF
Mike Lindell, the MyPillow guy, went back on Newsmax this week under the pretext of discussing cancel culture. Twitter has banned Lindell from its platform over his repeated voter fraud claims and retail outlets are starting to cut ties with his pillow company. The problem for Newsmax was, Lindell didn’t just want to talk about cancel culture, he also wanted to relitigate the 2020 election. He said that he’s ready to drop a bombshell that will once and for all prove that Trump won a second term. Lindell thought that Newsmax would be a safe space for him to spew his “rigged election” nonsense, but it turns out it was not the friendly environment he had hoped for.
Newsmax anchor Bob Sellers repeatedly tried to get Lindell off the subject and to talk instead specifically about cancel culture. The MyPillow guy either didn’t pick up on the cue or didn’t care to. He continued to attack the voting process and Dominion Voting Systems, which has been at the center of many of these pro-Trump conspiracy theories. The Newsmax host, worried about a lawsuit coming from Dominion, panicked and tried to talk over Lindell to get him to shut up. When that didn’t work, Sellers requested Lindell be hung up on and when that didn’t happen, Sellers walked off the set. Newsmax was able to prosper in the first place due to it being the crazier alternative to Fox News. Somehow Mike Lindell managed to be even too crazy for Newsmax and now he may have nowhere else to turn.
Trump Pocketed Entire $76 Million Raised for "Voter Fraud" Challenges & GA
In Donald Trump’s final two months in office, he raised $76 million from his supporters for the purposes of overturning the 2020 election results. The money was supposed to go to legal fees for the campaign so they could bring their claims to court, but we knew at the time that much of the money was to be used for paying off campaign debts. Some of the money raised was also supposed to go to the two runoff elections in Georgia to help Republicans hold the Senate. We’re now learning that through the end of 2020, Trump didn’t spend any of the money.
A Republican familiar with the fundraising effort said, “he put all this money in the bank for his own legal fights. He never cared about Georgia’s races.” This is typical Donald Trump. He conned his loyal supporters into thinking their donations would lead to four more years of Trump. While it should come as a surprise to no one, even in defeat the former president is able to get away with these grifts. There’s probably nothing illegal about it either, since the “Save America” leadership committee can use the money raised however it sees fit. Donald Trump’s entire presidency was a scam and he was able to make one final scheme successful on his way out the door.
From yesterday’s show:
Republicans Want Pathetic $600B COVID Relief, Gladly Voted for $740B for Military
A group of ten Republican senators visited the White House this week to convince President Biden to meet them halfway on a stimulus package for the American people. While Democrats have been preparing a $1.9 trillion bill, Republicans are hoping to get something that costs more like $600 billion. While it makes sense for Biden and the Democrats to hear out the opposition, there must be no compromise on this relief package. Assuming the centrist Dems hold the line, this can be passed through Congress and signed into law without a single Republican vote. If GOP lawmakers don’t want to vote for it, then that’s on them and they’ll have to answer to their constituents about it. Maybe on the next issue there can be talk of a more bipartisan solution, but this one is non-negotiable.
