Disgusting Vile Republicans Rewrite History on 10-Year-Old Abortion
Republicans who took issue with the accuracy of a story about a 10-year-old girl needing an abortion are now starting to accept it as fact because there’s a detail of the story they believe they can use to their benefit. The initial story was that a young girl from Ohio was raped and due to Roe vs. Wade getting overturned, she had to travel to Indiana in order to get the procedure done. Right-wing commentator Clay Travis, for example, tweeted, “Media reports of a 10 year old being raped in Ohio and Having to leave the state for an abortion appear to be completely made up.” Well now there is a 27-year-old man who has been arrested and charged for the rape and he happens to be an undocumented immigrant. So now these same right wingers are providing updates to the story highlighting the person’s immigration status and arguing Joe Biden never should have let this person into the country in the first place.
Anti-Gay Jesse Lee Peterson is Gay, Was Handsy with Me
Information has come out about right-wing talk show host and pastor Jesse Lee Peterson suggesting that he is gay. This has long been suspected of Jesse since he is actively homophobic and also runs a counseling center called BOND where he coaches young men. But there are now a number of claims from men who have associated with Jesse over the years alleging that he has come on to other guys and that he has had a number of same-sex relationships. Normally, a person’s sexual orientation would not be newsworthy and if they wanted to keep that information private about themselves, they should be able to. But given how Jesse constantly spews homophobic rhetoric on his program and makes others who are gay feel ashamed for who they are, this is absolutely valuable information for people to know.

Trump Rioter Regrets Everything, Was Duped by Trump
During Tuesday’s January 6th committee hearing, a man named Stephen Ayres showed up to testify about why he participated in the riots and how his life has been damaged because of it. Ayers said in his testimony, he felt “like [he] needed to be there” due to the calls from then-President Trump for his supporters to make their presence known at the Capitol. In June, Ayers pleaded guilty to illegally entering the Capitol building during the rioting. He explained that the charges led to him losing his job and eventually selling his house. When asked by Vice Chair Liz Cheney whether he still believes in the conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, Ayers said, “not so much now. I got away from all of the social media when January 6th happened, basically deleted it all. You know, I started doing my own research and everything.” Some are skeptical about whether Ayers really has transformed or if he’s merely cooperating to face less punishment and to rehabilitate his image. Either way, it’s fascinating to listen to how a person could be duped by Donald Trump and put their freedom and livelihood at risk for his sake.

Judge Orders Lindsey Graham to Testify in Trump Fraud Case
A judge has ordered Republican Senator Lindsey Graham to testify in the Georgia probe into Donald Trump’s alleged election meddling in the 2020 race. Last month, Graham was subpoenaed and the senator and his lawyers made it clear that they didn’t want to cooperate. Investigators want to hear about Graham’s calls to Georgia election officials including Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger wherein he inquired about the process for decertifying results and handing the election to Trump. Lindsey and his lawyers argue that he was simply operating as part of his senatorial duties by making these outreaches, however the judge presiding over the matter didn’t buy that argument. Graham is a US Senator from South Carolina, so he has no standing whatsoever to inquire about the election process in a different state.
