BREAKING: Trump Telling "Friends" He's Running in 2024
Donald Trump is privately confirming what many of us suspected to be the case and that is that he plans on running for president again in 2024. This move has been anticipated ever since Joe Biden was inaugurated as the nation’s 46th president. An overwhelming number of Republican voters say they would support another Trump run and the nomination is clearly his for the taking if he wants it. Recently on Maria Bartiromo’s show, Trump said that he knows what his answer will be on 2024 but he can’t say it just yet because of campaign finance reasons. A new report from the Rolling Stone’s Andy Kroll says that Trump has told at least three of his dinner buddies that he plans to run in the next election. The first two dinner conversations happened in late spring and the third dinner conversation happened just a few weeks ago.
There is some possibility that Trump is telling people he’s going to run for president but has no actual plans to do so. Michael Cohen, Trump’s longtime attorney and fixer, has said that he doesn’t believe Trump will seek a second term in 2024. There’s also the possibility that between now and then, Trump’s health and old age prevent him from being able to launch a run, as he will be 78 years old by then. If the former president is able to run again, the country will have not only have to brace itself for if he wins, but also for if he loses given the events of January 6th. Defeating Trump in 2020 was probably not the end for him, and Democrats and left-leaning independents may have to do everything they can to make sure he’s beaten once and for all in 2024.
Newsmax Host Makes Most Dangerous Anti-Vax Comments in History?
Newsmax continues to position itself as to the right of Fox News, which means that at this point, they need to play up fear about the coronavirus vaccines. That’s why one of their hosts, Rob Schmitt, felt compelled on his show recently to talk about how vaccines are not natural. Schmitt said, “I always think about just nature and the way everything works. And I feel like a vaccination in a weird way is just kind of generally going against nature.” He went on to say that if there’s a disease that is going to wipe out a certain portion of the population, then that’s simply part of the “ebbs and flows” of the natural world. Therefore, it is wrong to develop vaccines to counteract that. This is so painfully stupid for a number of reasons: Vaccines are created in the natural world and because humans are a part of nature, they are in a sense “natural.” But furthermore, accepting Schmitt’s view of the world means that many people will suffer and die for no reason whatsoever. The same case can be made about any medicine or treatment, because even though they may help people and do a tremendous amount of good, one can argue they’re working against “nature.”
Later on in the segment, Schmitt brought on Dr. Peter McCullough from Texas A&M to back up his claims. They got sidetracked a bit, but McCullough said “there are some reports that support what you’re saying” because the diversity of strains is narrowing among vaccinated populations so there will be a smaller number of variants. The doctor then went on to say that vaccines should be targeted to elderly populations and the people who are most at-risk. It’s discussions like these that fuel vaccine skepticism and hesitancy and ultimately lead to more hospitalizations and deaths.
From yesterday’s show:
Fox Reporter is BACK, Still DETERMINED to Humiliate Himself
Fox News reporter Peter Doocy is back in the White House press briefing room and remains determined to make a fool out of himself at every opportunity. When given his shot to ask Press Secretary Jen Psaki questions, he did his best to make the administration look bad but Psaki was having none of it. Doocy attacked the White House for coming up with a “list” of Facebook accounts that are spreading misinformation about COVID vaccines. He said, “for how long has the administration been spying on people’s Facebook profiles looking for vaccine misinformation?” Psaki started her answer by pointing out that “that was quite a loaded and inaccurate question.” The Press Secretary also said that their top concern, and what should be the top concern of Fox News and the rest of the media, is encouraging people to get vaccinated so they can save their own lives. However, many in the Fox News audience are skeptical of the COVID vaccine and would rather hear about how the administration is spying on them or trying to interfere with a private company.
