Feeble Trump shuffles away from mic, visibly disoriented
Donald Trump spoke outside the courtroom during another day of his New York hush money trial. The ex-president complained about the room being cold and even having to be there in the first place, since his friends Alan Dershowitz, Jonathan Turley, and Mark Levin think he shouldn’t have to. Of course, it’s up to prosecutors and the court system to determine whether Trump has to stand trial, not Fox News pundits. Trump made it seem like he’d be out campaigning if not for having to be in Manhattan for the trial, saying “I'd much rather be in Georgia now.” However, Trump is routinely golfing on his days off from court rather than campaigning. Absent from Trump’s comments was the fact that Judge Juan Merchan is allowing him to go to Barron’s graduation, despite Trump formerly claiming falsely he wasn’t allowed to. This is something Trump can no longer complain about, but given these recent comments to the press, he’ll never run out of grievances to air.
Trump's ability to speak collapses in softball interview gone horribly wrong
Donald Trump's recent interview with Sean Hannity prompted scrutiny over his apparent cognitive decline, with doubts raised about his ability to form coherent sentences. Trump made confusing remarks about the Israel-Gaza war, advocating for Israel's war on terror and emphasizing his moving of the American embassy to Jerusalem. Additionally, Trump's interview revived discussions comparing his approach to Biden's handling of the Israel-Gaza situation, with differing opinions emerging on the preferred course of action. Throughout the conversation, Trump's rhetoric and actions regarding Israel demonstrated a man more interested in winning votes and delivering standard right-wing talking points than general concern about the war and the people of the region.
From yesterday’s show:
BRUTAL LAWSUIT: Hunter Biden will sue Fox News for defamation
Hunter Biden's legal team is gearing up to sue Fox News for defamation, citing alleged conspiracy and false portrayal. Reports from NBC News and ABC News detail Hunter Biden's imminent legal action against Fox News, including threats of litigation over revenge porn and discredited bribery allegations. CNN obtained a cease and desist letter from Biden's lawyers to Fox News, highlighting claims made by Fox hosts regarding bribery allegations even after the FBI informant behind them was indicted. A Media Matters study reveals Fox News' extensive coverage of Hunter Biden, with numerous segments promoting falsehoods and unproven claims. While Hunter Biden is considered a public figure to some extent, the sheer volume of coverage and the indictment of the FBI informant may bolster his case. The outcome may hinge on the language used by Fox hosts and guests regarding Hunter Biden's alleged wrongdoing. Regardless, the impending lawsuit poses a significant legal threat to Fox News and could result in substantial consequences if found liable.
From yesterday’s show:
Republican: Biden impeachment & indictment slow because there's too much evidence
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer claims that the delay in impeaching Joe Biden is attributed to the extensive evidence against him and his family. However, Comer's public claims of evidence abundance are debunked by revealing his private acknowledgment of insufficient grounds for impeachment in fundraising emails. Despite Comer's insistence on evidence abundance, there is no smoking gun or conclusive wrongdoing in Biden's decades-long public scrutiny. The inconsistency between public assertions and private admissions prompts questions about whether Republicans have any intention of impeaching Biden, or if they’re trying to run out the clock on his first term.
