BREAKING: Trump REPLACES Failing Campaign Manager
Donald Trump has replaced his 2020 campaign manager, Brad Parscale, with only three and a half months remaining until the election. Parscale will be taking on a data and analytics role in the campaign, while Bill Stepien will be promoted to campaign manager. The news wasn’t all that surprising, Trump has been reportedly furious about losing to Biden and he’s been taking it out on Parscale. Maybe Trump thinks this is the change he needs to turn his campaign around.
Despite the switch-up in the campaign, Trump is publicly pretending that he’s doing well in the polls. Trump tweeted yesterday as part of the announcement, “our poll numbers are rising fast.” If Trump really believes he is winning and the polls that have him losing are just “suppression polls,” why would he change campaign managers so late? The last time an incumbent president changed his campaign manager this late in the race was George HW Bush in 1992 and he ended up losing. Unless Trump and Stepien turn things around, Trump, like Bush 41, will be a one-term president.
Ivanka & Trump Break Law in Deranged Pics Holding Beans
Donald and Ivanka Trump appear to have broken the law by promoting Goya food products on social media. Goya has been the subject of boycotts this week after its CEO praised the job Trump is doing. To show their support, both Donald and Ivanka Trump had photographs taken of them displaying Goya products and posted them online. These posts appear to be in violation of a federal law that forbids those holding public office from endorsing products for private gain.
This is the very swamp that Trump pretended to be against. We know that they will get away with it because they always get away with these violations. However, at this last stage in Trump’s term, it might be best not to get too worked up about this issue in particular. Trump has done countless things that are worse for the country than promoting Goya foods. He might be corrupt and breaking the law, but we have to realize there will be no direct consequences for it. All we can do is vote him out in November and strip him of his power.

Should I Even Talk About Bari Weiss' Letter?
This week, journalist Bari Weiss resigned from her role as opinion editor of The New York Times. A major reason cited for her decision to leave the paper was the idea that the Times is unwilling to promote different points of view, particularly those coming from centrist and right-wing voices. Weiss makes some interesting criticisms in her letter that deserve exploration, but is it possible that the New York Times just wasn’t the right fit for Weiss’s writing?
