Kari Lake CONFRONTED, lies and makes fun of interviewer's clothes
Tim Miller confronted Kari Lake at CPAC for an interview on his Showtime program, “The Circus.” Miller criticized Lake for supporting Trumpism, suggested that moderate Republicanism could win elections, and that the party doesn’t have to go down the radical path it’s currently on. Lake responded to Miller’s assertions in a childish way, by telling lies and making fun of Miller’s attire. She said, “we're having corrupt, stolen elections. President Trump won that election in 2020. He did. There was corruption. I know you don't believe it and you don't want to look at it. And they stole the election for me.” Unhappy with how the conversation was going, Lake resorted to ad hominem, asking, “how old are you?” Miller responded by saying he’s 41, to which Lake followed up, “you're 41 and you dress like a 13-year-old.” Lake will keep getting easily frustrated for as long as she continues to push these election conspiracy theories that even she herself doesn’t actually believe.
Trump relentlessly POUNDING DeSantis, who isn't even running (yet)
Donald Trump has been posting to Truth Social about Ron DeSantis every single day, presumably trying to prevent the Florida governor from jumping into the 2024 presidential race. Trump posted a criticism of DeSantis from his left, saying, “Ron DeSanctus voted THREE TIMES to cut and destroy Social Security, and increase the age requirement to at least 70. LIKEWISE, he voted to radically CUT MEDICARE. He is a disciple of RINO Paul Ryan, what do you expect?” Then, Trump claimed Florida was a great place before DeSantis became the governor, writing, “FLORIDA WAS DOING GREAT FOR MANY YEARS, LONG BEFORE RON DESANCTUS GOT THERE. THE SUNSHINE AND OCEAN ARE WONDERFUL THINGS TO HAVE!” The former president then posted some commentary about recent polling that supposedly has Trunmp leading DeSantis in the early primary states and in a hypothetical matchup against Joe Biden. If Trump is already going after DeSantis this aggressively before DeSantis has even announced, it’s difficult to imagine what Trump will say if and when DeSantis jumps into the race.

Pale, disheveled Trump gives bizarre press conference
Donald Trump held a press conference over the weekend at CPAC in Washington D.C. and the former president looked particularly pale, confused, and disheveled. One reporter asked Trump about the loyalty pledge the Republican Party created as a prerequisite to getting on the debate stage. Trump responded by saying, “I don't know. I mean, I'm just hearing about it for the first time, about the loyalty pledge. There are probably people that I wouldn't be very happy about endorsing and running. So we'll see. I think some of them I won't use names. I don't want to insult anybody, but some of them I would not be very happy about. So I'll have to think about that.” Trump will likely end up signing whatever pledge he needs to serve his short-term interests and then he’ll break the pledge if he ends up losing the nomination and considering a third-party run. Trump went on to parry a veiled attack by his former Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, who said Republicans don’t need any more celebrity nominees. Trump pretended that he doesn’t consider himself a celebrity, which is about as unbelievable as anything else that comes out of his mouth.

Kari Lake delivers horrifying, delusional CPAC speech, scares world
Failed Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake spoke at CPAC over the weekend and continued to assert that she was the legitimate winner of her race last year. Lake claimed that God supported her efforts to overturn the election and that this might be her calling in life. Kari also referred to propagandist Steve Bannon as a modern-day George Washington. Lake then went on to tell a story about how someone supposedly offered her a lucrative job to get out of politics, but she turned it down because she wanted to do right by the people of her state. Despite losing her gubernatorial race, Lake did win the CPAC straw poll for vice president, getting 20% of the vote and besting Ron DeSantis at 14% and Nikki Haley at 10%.
