Trump Cabinet Meeting a House of Horrors Freakshow
Donald Trump had a cabinet meeting in front of the cameras yesterday and it was yet another veritable house of horrors freak show. When asked a question about the coronavirus affecting minority communities, Trump responded by listing races and ethnicities he is aware of. Trump also defended his use of hydroxychloroquine, berated a reporter for being “rude” after asking a perfectly reasonable question, and called Nancy Pelosi a “sick woman” with a “lot of mental problems.”
The civilized world cannot believe that this is what's happening in the United States. We are the laughingstock. And as I told you earlier this week, we are increasingly pitied by the world because this is the guy who's running the show.
Trump "Honored" That US Has Most Coronavirus Cases
Donald Trump claimed he is honored that the United States has by far the most coronavirus infections in the world. The President said “we have a lot of cases, I don't look at that as a bad thing. I look at that is in a certain respect as being a good thing because it means our testing is much better. . . I view it as a badge of honor.”
This is absolutely crazy. The United States has far and away the most confirmed coronavirus cases, is the 12th highest in deaths per capita, and is only 38th in the world in testing per capita. The high caseload in the United States cannot be explained away by saying we’re doing the most testing, because that is not true. Trump viewing being #1 in infections as a “badge of honor” is ludicrous and does a disservice to the those who are suffering because of his inaction during the pandemic.
